About the Project

Ride for Rainbows is a flagship night cycling fundraising event organised by Club Rainbow Singapore since 2012. This annual event aims to raise public awareness as well as funds to support children who suffer from a range of major chronic and potentially life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The event challenges the resilience and tenacity of riders to complete a gruelling ride around the island, which exemplifies the same qualities that Club Rainbow Singapore hopes to inculcate in their beneficiaries in their journey towards an enriching life.

After a two-year hiatus of physical events, Ride for Rainbow came back bigger than ever! With both physical and virtual rides made available, participants have an option to decide how they would like to be involved in the event. In addition, a post-event birthday bash carnival was also held in celebrations of Club Rainbow Singapore’s 30th Anniversary.

PICH was the main agency to plan, coordinate and execute the venue arrangements as well as the logistics and security of the participants riding on the open road. While the physical ride was brought back, the event continued to have a virtual ride component as well to offer participants an alternative way to be a part of the event. Three categories were made available this year – 30KM Virtual Ride, 60KM Physical Ride and 120KM Physical Ride.

In conjunction with Club Rainbow Singapore’s 30th Anniversary, a post-ride birthday bash carnival was held, bringing the beneficiaries, participants and general public together to celebrate this joyous occasion. We coordinated with Club Rainbow’s internal team to deliver games and programmes for the kids, including food trucks, art displays and performances by their very own beneficiaries as a platform to showcase their works.
