About the Project

OCBC Cycle aims to be a safe premium cycling platform with a series of unique cycling and cycling-related activities, championing cycling as a year-round way of life. It also gives participants the once-in-a-year opportunity to cycle on closed roads and expressways without worrying about vehicular traffic. Over 7,000 cyclists took part in Singapore’s biggest cycling festival on 29 and 30 August 2015.

OCBC Cycle is sanctioned by the Singapore Cycling Federation and supported by Sport Singapore.

With the aim to grow and support the cycling community in Singapore, various categories were available for participants of all ages and cycling abilities to choose from. Participants of The Sportive Ride and The Straits Times Ride started at the Singapore Sports Hub and ended inside the National Stadium – The perfect place to end the ride off on as it is not every day that one gets to enter this iconic venue.

The competitive riders in the OCBC Cycle Speedway Championships category blazed along Stadium Drive in an exhilarating race against other competing teams while younger riders between the ages of 2 – 12 years old also had fun as they cycled along Stadium Drive in the Mighty Savers® Kids & Family Rides.
