About the Project
For 25 years, Star Alliance and their member airlines have connected people and cultures from around the world, and this remains the same even as the world recovers from the pandemic.
In celebration of their 25th Anniversary, Star Alliance (Singapore) brought people from around the world to participate in a charity run to honour the frontline healthcare workers whom were protecting the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Proceeds from the run was channelled towards supporting these workers under the Courage Funds and the Healthcare Humanity Awards to recognise the bravery and dedication of healthcare workers in Singapore.
Solution
Through in-depth discussions and brainstorming, we understood the intention and direction of the event. From there, we ensured that the objectives are met through all areas of the planning process; from venue sourcing, to route planning, down to the execution of the event.
On top of carefully selecting the running route, other precautionary measures were also set in place to ensure that non-competitive runners would be able to enjoy the running route as much as the more experienced runners.
On 9 October 2022, the event saw a total of 995 participants from across 22 different countries coming together to run for this good cause, marking a great start for Star Alliance first ever running event under its brand. Despite the showers, participants remain high-spirited throughout the morning.
